HOP English app for iPhone and iPad

HOP English is an innovative iOS app designed specifically for Latvian-speaking pupils to enhance their English language learning experience. With a wide range of topics and engaging features, HOP English offers an interactive and effective way to master English vocabulary and pronunciation.

The app is structured around various topics, each containing around 10 flashcards. Each flashcard presents an English word, an associated picture, a pronunciation guide, and an example sentence illustrating the words usage. Users can even click on the word or sentence to listen to its pronunciation, aiding in the development of proper spoken English skills.

The learning process is intuitive and user-friendly. Users can flip the flashcards to view the same content in Latvian, reinforcing their understanding of the English-Latvian translations. Alternatively, they can swipe the card away to reveal the next flashcard in the series.

Once all the flashcards in a topic have been reviewed, users can put their knowledge to the test through the practice mode. In this mode, they are presented with a mix of correctly and incorrectly matched flashcards. Users simply swipe the cards right if the image matches the correct word or left if it does not. Achieving a perfect score in swiping completes the topic, marking it as "completed" and providing a sense of achievement.
